1. White & Blue

This pretty summer dress will definitely attract compliments. It’s perfect for catching brunch with friends, and for days when you want a quick outfit to throw on that looks pretty.

I especially love the strap details – the ribbon adds to the femininity of the outfit.

As a con, the dress is longer and looser than I would have imagined, based on the pictures on Chicwish’s website. In my opinion, it would look better if it was slightly shorter and more figure-hugging below the knees!

Size-wise, this dress is true to size even though it is slightly looser below the knees.

2. Business Chic

This look is one of my favorites, and is similar to what I wear on most days – especially with a good blazer! I already own the ruched top with the bow straps in white and loved it so much that I wanted to get the black version too. The top is so versatile, and perfect to elevate casual outfits. Size-wise, the top is true to size.

The shorts are a good basic piece to have in your wardrobe, as they pair perfectly with most summer tops. The shorts have a horse-bit detail at the front, which gives them a more elevated look without having to add any extra accessories.

However, the downside is that you can’t cinch the waist with a belt if the shorts are slightly too big for you, as there aren’t any loops – this was the case for me. The sizing of these shorts is definitely on the larger side, so size down if you can.

3. White & Bright

Summer is all about dresses, and this white cotton eyelet dress is just perfect for weekend drinks and travels. Again, the dress is slightly on the larger side and not very figure-hugging, so make sure to size down if you are between sizes.

4. Prim & Proper

This dress is such a unique piece! I love the bow straps that have been embellished with beads and the overall color of the dress. While this dress is made from a rather formal-feeling fabric, I think you can wear it for more laid-back occasions too – it all depends on how you style it.

Personally, I would style it with loafers, mules, and sneakers for casual occasions, much like you can see in the pictures above and below. If you wanted to wear it for more formal occasions like special events, dinners, or parties, the dress pairs very nicely with nude, white or metallic high heels.

5. Working From Home

Although this look isn’t super glamorous, I can say with certainty that these shorts are my most worn piece from this entire order. I wanted to get a cute pair of loose shorts that would be fine to wear in the house, and these leopard print ones fit the bill. They’re not frumpy at all, and you could wear them for running errands and even exercising.

If you’re looking for a slightly loose fit similar to mine, I recommend sizing up. I normally wear an XS, but got these shorts in S as recommended by many other customers on Chicwish’s site – it was definitely the right decision!

6. Burnt Orange

My wardrobe is usually quite neutral, but I wanted to inject a bit of color, and thought this burnt orange dress would be a great piece to wear from summer to fall.

While it looks beautiful in the pictures, in reality, it’s not quite what I wanted. The main problem that I have with the dress is that it’s not cinched at the waist – the elastic band wraps around under the bust and defines that area rather than the waist. While this is great for anyone who is pregnant, it’s not ideal for others.

Above, you can see more clearly where the elastic band of the dress is. The belt covers it nicely in this picture, but in reality, you’ll have to find a way of fastening the belt to the dress, as it will otherwise slip to the waist area. If you don’t, the belt and the elastic won’t be aligned, resulting in a bit of a weird look.

Size-wise, this dress runs slightly large – I would recommend sizing down if you can.

7. Rocker Chic

This dress is the same as the cream version featured above, but it gives off an entirely different vibe. While the cream dress looks semi-formal, the black dress is more versatile. In my opinion, you can wear this dress for both casual occasions as well as semi-formal occasions, such as birthday parties. It all depends on how you style it!
