Spring 2023 Celine price increase
This is Celine’s first price increase in 2023, which has seen almost all of their most popular bags hiked by $100-$500, or around 4-8%, depending on the bag. The biggest price hike that we’ve recorded happened with the brand’s Cabas Phantom bags, which increased by up to 24%!
Some of Celine’s bags had already experienced a price hike earlier in 2022 – for example, the popular Triomphe line saw an increase of 7-15% in May 2022.
With this said, not all of the bags in the Celine collection have been affected by the price increase, and each Celine bag has increased by a different margin.

Why Was there a price increase?
Every year, luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Christian Dior will increase their prices to reflect rising prices in other areas. However, the price increases in the last few years have been a little higher than in other years – this is because of the ongoing health crisis, global inflation, and the rising cost of raw materials and production.
