The Essential Guide To The Best Summer Sales Bargains
Summer sales for ladies clothes are back on and boy are they good this year! I am normally not someone who jumps on the sales bandwagon because let’s face it – there are usually sales throughout the year, and there’s no need to wait to splurge your money on items that you’ve wanted for a while.
With the rise of e-commerce, some brands are dirt cheap even without discounting their prices.
However, if you’re into luxury goods, now is the perfect opportunity to grab a bag (or two) that you’ve been eyeing up for a while. Granted, not all of them are going to be on sale, but there’s some pretty darn good items that have gone on sale: The Chloe Nile, The Chloe Faye and Burberry’s Trench Coat! What the heck?! Burberry & Chloe have sales? Yes indeed!
Of course, this doesn’t mean that their high street counterparts have nothing to offer – it’s the complete opposite! I was actually semi-shocked (and very excited) when I visited In The Style’s website last night – they have so many dresses, boots and other cute things available for only $6.50!!! And this included various sizes, even small sizes that would be normally out of stock.

Summer Sales Ladies Clothes: Luxury & High Street Edition
What I’m Wearing: Jumpsuit, Here / Bag, Here (similar) / Shoes, Here (similar)
So, if you’ve been wanting to get a few new items to your wardrobe, now is the best time. Both designers & high street retailers have summer sales for ladies clothes at unbeatable prices – I doubt there will be reductions that are anything of this calibre until after Christmas.
And, the good thing is that most retailers offer both summer clothing as well as winter clothing for those of you who have already bought enough summer clothes.
For example, if you’re interested in luxury fashion, check out Stuart Weitzman’s classic over the knee boots on Farfetch (here) – they are going for as much as -50%, which could save you up to $500! What a bargain!
So, if you haven’t checked out any summer sales for ladies clothes yet, I strongly urge you to do so now before retailers run out of sizes! Here are my top picks for both luxury and high street brands.

What Are The Best Items To Buy Right Now?
The best thing to consider when buying from sales is to really evaluate if you need an item or not. I know, I know, time is precious and you can’t spend too long thinking about a purchase before it’s too late to buy it.
However, if you want to remain practical, it’s best to buy items that you have been eyeing up before the sales even began. Now is a great time to invest in some classics that you know you’ll be wearing throughout the years.
Although both luxury designers as well as high street retailers come up with some fun and funky designs, unless you’ve been lusting after the product in question for a while, it’s probably best to click ’empty cart’ and avoid the purchase.
The worst thing is to buy an item just because it was -70% on sale, and you saved X amount of dollars on it. If you never wear the item in your life then –surprise surprise– you haven’t actually saved any money.
Personally, I think that the best items to invest in this season are Stuart Weitzman boots – they are every day boots (which means that you will get a lot use out of them), they will lat for years and they are forever practical. Right now, they are on sale for up to -50% on Farfetch (here), so get them if you don’t already have a pair.
On the other hand, designer bags are also a great investment. Designer bags usually sell for $1000+, so if you can get one for even -30%, you’re already saving a lot of money. Again, Farfetch & Net-A-Porter are one of the best places to look. Plus, the brands are very easy to navigate on the two sites.
Where will you be shopping this season? Will you take advantage of designer goods going for much cheaper than their normal retail value, or will you buy something from the high street? Or, will you be skipping out the sales altogether? If so, why? Let me know in the comments!
