What’s Up In March?
Some of you probably know that I’ve now fully moved into my WeWork offices and I’m loving it here!
In March, I was quite productive: I brainstormed blog post topics for the entire year and put them down in my editorial calendar. I was also done writing March & April’s blog posts during the first week of March, which felt pretty bad-ass.
After that, I focused on more of the back-end side of blogging: I’m planning to release two new free email courses in May, so I went ahead and filmed the material for one of them already.
It’s going to be a 4 part free video series called Explosive Traffic With Pinterest, which is aimed to help you guys increase your blog traffic through Pinterest – watch out for this on my Youtube channel!
Speaking of my YouTube channel, I’m thinking of becoming semi-active there again. I’ve filmed a few videos that are meant to promote my own products as well as some affiliate products, so if I see a positive ROI, I’ll keep filming videos more actively.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how that goes!

Want To Boost Your Own Traffic?
If you’re looking to start boosting your own traffic and earning more money, there’s two realistic options for you: go for either Google traffic (slow) or Pinterest traffic (fast).
I’ve recently started implementing an aggressive Pinterest and Tailwind Tribes strategy on my blog, and I quickly went from getting 50,000 monthly pageviews to 90,000 in the span of 3 months by using two awesome sources: the Pinterest Traffic Avalanche course and my own strategies in Explosive Traffic With Tribes.
With 100 pages of hands-on, no BS strategies that WORK, Explosive Traffic With Tribes is an awesome step-by-step blueprint for bloggers to reach 90,000 pageviews with just 30 minutes of work per day. I highly recommend Explosive Traffic With Tribes if 1) You’re looking to increase your traffic 2) You’ve tried everything with Pinterest and nothing’s worked.
After taking Pinterest Traffic Avalanche, I achieved some success with Pinterest, but my blog traffic didn’t really blow up until I started using Tailwind Tribes in my strategy!
Howver, if you’re a complete newbie to Pinterest, the Pinterest Traffic Avalanche course will be an excellent place to start learning!

What Worked In March: SendOwl
So, I had been selling my products on WooCommerce on WordPress before switching to SendOwl. WooCommerce is a completely free plugin that anyone can use to begin selling products on their website.
I had no particular issues with WooCommerce except that they didn’t offer the possibility of having affiliates.
Being an affiliate marketer myself, I know the value of having an amazing group of people promote your products for you. I wanted my blog to have an affiliate program too! (Interested in joining? Click here!)
At first I was a little sceptical – the platform costs $15 per month, and if I only make around $100 in sale per month, would it really be worth switching it?
Luckily, they had a free 30 day trial (try it out here for yourself!) and I went ahead and tried it out. I was VERY surprised by what happened. I still am very surprised.
My sales figures jumped significantly!
Yep, that’s right. And it wasn’t for the product that I thought would be bringing in most of my revenue. Nope, it was my first product, Millenial Presets that started selling like hot cakes.
Previously I was selling about 0-1 orders of Millenial Presets per month, and this figure suddenly jumped to 4 per month! Moreover, this data is only from 12th March onwards, so perhaps I’ll reach an even higher figure next month.
Okay, maybe “selling like hot cakes” is a bit of an exaggeration here, but I was very surprised to see it jump from 0 orders to 4 orders so suddenly.
A few reasons why this may have happened include:
- I revamped the sales page. It’s much prettier now with more images and testimonials!
- I increased the speed of my website, including the sales pages. According to experts, this is crucial.
- I switched to SendOwl, which offers a much faster transaction than WooCommerce. I can’t be sure, but I think there’s less cart abandonment with SendOwl because the transaction only takes about 5 seconds instead of 1-3 minutes.
With WooCommerce, the customer had to write down their address, telephone number and all kinds of nonsense that wasn’t actually necessary to make the purchase.
On the otherhand, SendOwl only asks for the most relevant information, and the transaction happens on the sales page, which makes things suuuuuuper fast and convenient for the user!
What’s Next In April?
I have quite a few plans in stock for April: first of all, I want to finish 2-3 email courses that I’m working on, including the free Explosive Traffic With Pinterest course.
These courses are all meant to increase the amount of my email subscribers and provide tons of value at the same time. After realising the value of email marketing I’ve become a bit obsessed with list building and I want to make it my top priority!
If you haven’t started list building yet, I highly recommend ConvertKit! They also offer a free 14 day trial with no credit card required.
Secondly, I’m also working on launching two more blogs this year.
One of them will be a beauty blog that I plan to sell later on, and the other one will have a focus on personal finance and investing – this is something that I’m super passionate about, but it doesn’t really fit my niche here on The Chic Pursuit, so I decided to make another blog for it!
There’s zero chance of me finishing both of the blogs in April, but I want to get started with the process and hopefully finish writing about 10 blog posts for my new blogs!
It’s going to be a loooooot of work behind the scenes, especially considering that I still plan to post at least once a week here!
Tripwire product. I’m also working on adding at least one new product to my shop. The product and sales page are 90% ready, but I just haven’t managed to set it up completely yet.
It’s going to be a super affordable, $6.95 product that teaches you exactly how to pitch to brands.
