Many of us have our own traditional Christmas breakfast foods that we eat year after year, whether that’s sweet or savory dishes. My family has always been rather health conscious, so we normally eat a bowl of rice porridge with one almond in the whole pot – The one who gets the almond gets a special wish! It’s a fun game to play with kids, but I must admit that the taste of that porridge has gotten pretty bland and boring over the years.
