Hi everyone and a productive Monday to you all!

I have been online shopping a lot recently and taking advantage of the January sales. Fortunately, a lot of the items have been suuuuper cheap so they haven’t broken the bank. I’m most proud of snatching this white trench coat – can you believe that it was only £14!!!!!! Fourteen pounds! That’s possibly the cheapest item in my closet, and the fact that it’s an outerwear product kind of baffles me.

As a student I’ve learnt to budget and almost never buy expensive clothes. Even in this outfit everything I’m wearing is less than £30, except the accessories. In my opinion, light and nude colours almost always make an outfit look more put together. White has become a particular favourite of mine, especially white dresses that flatter the body, and white jeans for every day use. However,  in my opinion it’s hard to find a white coat that doesn’t make you look like you’re wearing a lab coat, which is why I’m extra happy to have found this trench. The fabric flows very nicely and it is also warmer than it looks. I’ve paired it with black accessories, but I think it would look equally good with a pair of nude or grey boots and a beige bag.

P.S.  Robyn and I were shooting around the American Embassy in Mayfair on the day of Trump’s inauguration, and there were literally hundreds, if not thousands of people protesting around us! It was impossible for us to get to our destination. What do you think – will Trump make it through the 4 years with all these constant protests?
