Hey guys, I hope you’re well! I’m sorry that there was no blog post last week. I’ve been on the road again and whenever that happens, I tend to want to explore my surroundings and forget about blogging. Excuses, excuses, I know! Anyhow, today’s post is not travel related in the slightest – I have prepared an office wear lookbook for you guys. Well, instead of calling it a lookbook I should probably call it a try-on haul because essentially that’s the format I’ve gone with. I’ve featured five different looks on what to wear to the office from Monday to Friday to hopefully inspire you guys. I’ve also incorporating some current trends such as the red to toe look and checkered prints and of course my all time favourite trend, the all nude colour scheme.
These looks are all smart casual, which I know isn’t a requirement in all offices. If that is your case, you can still wear these looks anywhere where you want to look smart, such as networking events or meetings. Personally, I like to look chic when I’m working because it makes me feel more productive and put together. My previous work experience stems mostly from chemistry labs and five star hotels, which means that my work attire has quite literally ranged from dressing like a sloth to only wearing immaculate uniforms. Either someone dictated what I had to look like, or no one cared about my appearance in the slightest. Jobs like that make it easy to dress in the morning, but are not very inspiring for a fashion blogger. With that being said, I am now applying for positions that are client facing but more laid-back than customer service, so I felt inspired to enhance my wardrobe with new smart casual outfits.
I hope you enjoy the video, let me know what were your favourite outfits! Also, I would really appreciate it if you would subscribe to my Youtube, I’m almost at a thousand subscribers now! (Wait what?! Thank you guys so much for your support! xx)
